Rise carmine

Rise Carmine exists at the center of a genre-less world. A lifetime of influences and a long flirtation with music school, Rise Carmine (aka Liam Colbert) can’t help but write music that will not be contained by a single set of parameters. It’s an unabashedly eclectic sound equally rooted in 90s indie rock and new-age psychedelia, and dabbles in anything that has a pulse. Liam writes all the music. He plays all the instruments. He records in his bedroom. This is the only way he knows how to do it.

The upcoming album ‘Under The Red Light,’ celebrates things that take place in the shadows—secret meetings and sweaty unions on grungy club floors - where bodies and whispers and sweat twist and converge under flashes of light. The music is reminiscent of bands like Nine Inch Nails, Royal Blood, and Tame Impala. It's a soundtrack that would be equally at home blasting out of dirty club speakers as on festival stages. Led by driving, pulsing bass lines and lead singer Colbert’s soaring vocals, the music is all at once anthemic and danceable.
