Toronto-based multi-instrumentalist and psych-rock artist Liam Colbert — better known as Rise Carmine — has officially signed to Paper Bag Records and is announcing his forth coming EP, set for release later this fall. A poised and compelling rising talent, Colbert first emerged under the name Patio hawk, gaining early attention with a self-produced album in 2017. In 2022, he reintroduced himself as Rise Carmine with the bold and sonically ambitious No Coup For Anyone, produced by Grammy-winning heavyweight Dave Schiffman (Weezer, PUP, Vampire Weekend). Now, the boundary-pushing and elusive presence is back — ready to carve his name into the modern alternative scene. Today, Rise Carmine shares his latest single,“Come in Closer”—a fluttering, woozy psychedelic journey that transports listeners to another realm.
